LoFloor® 18 UFH System Panel – 1200mm x 600mm
Price range: £29.93 through £31.71
LoFloor® 18 is an 18mm low-profile underfloor heating system designed for suspended timber floors, making it ideal for retrofit and refurbishment projects where existing floor heights and finishes must be maintained. Installed from beneath the floor structure, it allows UFH to be added without lifting existing flooring, reducing disruption while delivering fast, efficient heating performance.
The system uses two aluminium-foiled MDF boards for optimal heat transfer: a 12mm moisture-resistant base board partially grooved for 12mm AmbiFlex® P12 pipe at 150mm centres, and a 6mm printed, aluminium-foiled top board that secures the pipe and maximises heat output. The double aluminium foil layers ensure rapid response and even heat distribution, delivering outputs of up to 70 W/m² when correctly designed. LoFloor® 18 is suitable for carpet and wood flooring (not tiles or vinyl) and must be installed beneath a structural, stable suspended subfloor.
