AmbiTak
AmbiTak is a fast‑install, flexible UFH solution designed for screeded floor constructions where simplicity, adaptability and reliable fixing are essential. The system uses barbed non‑stick tacker staples (SpeedClips) driven into insulation boards with a specialist SpeedGun staple tacker gun, allowing installers to clip 16mm UFH pipework securely at customised pipe centres. This creates a highly responsive heating layer that delivers even heat distribution across a wide range of floor layouts.
AmbiTak is suitable for residential and commercial screeded floors, offering installers the freedom to work with pipe spacings from 100-250 mm using the printed grid on the insulation board for guidance. The barbed design of the 40/60mm SpeedClips provides a robust hold that prevents pipe lift, even when working against the natural flex of the pipe. The system is tested in accordance with BS EN 1264‑2:2021, ensuring dependable thermal performance and compatibility with modern low‑temperature heating systems.
For best results, screeding should be scheduled as soon as possible after installation to protect the pipework and prevent accidental damage. When liquid screed is specified, the insulation layer must be sealed to create a watertight base, ensuring the screed remains contained during the pour.
