AmbiCastellated/Pro
AmbiCastellated/Pro is a robust castellated-panel underfloor heating (UFH) system designed for fast, accurate pipe installation within screeded floors. The moulded plastic panels provide consistent fixing points at 50mm intervals, delivering neat layouts and reliable pipe retention during the screeding process. The Pro variant adds a factory‑applied self‑adhesive backing to bond the panel directly to the insulation layer, minimising movement and preventing pipe lift before pour.
Acting as a separating layer between pipework and insulation, the castellations protect the pipe during installation and screeding, while the interlocking edges enable rapid coverage of large floor areas. The system is suitable for typical 16mm UFH pipe and supports multi‑directional pipe routing to accommodate complex room geometries and zoning requirements.
When installing the AmbiCastellated or AmbiCastellated Pro panels over rigid insulation on a structural base, maintain a standard screed buildup with foam edge insulation and a DPM where required. The 50mm grid helps maintain consistent centres; the panels hold the pipe firmly to preserve the designed spacing through to the screed pour, ensuring predictable thermal performance.

Thermal Performance
Tested in accordance with BS EN 1264‑2:2021, AmbiCastellated achieves up to 132 W/m² at 20°C room temperature with MWT 45°C and 0 tog covering. Performance will vary depending on covering type, pipe centres and building heat‑loss characteristics.
Floor Finishes
AmbiCastellated/Pro is compatible with common screeded-floor finishes. For resilient coverings such as vinyl and tiles, adhere to finish‑specific primers/adhesives and movement joint guidance as per the screed and floor finish manufacturer.
