Please note NeoAir thermostats are designed to run on AAA Alkaline batteries with a maximum voltage of 1.5. Other battery types may be used but their output voltage must not exceed 1.6 volts. Alway use batteries that are designed for use with low loads. 1.2v Rechargeable batteries may be used with the NeoAir V2 and V3 models, but the thermostat will display the low battery symbol prematurely.
